A sashiko shirt adorned with flowing waves.
These are original shirts that we finish entirely in our own workshop, from weaving the fabric to processing and sewing. Made from 100% cotton for a comfortable feel against the skin, this piece can be worn comfortably regardless of the season, and its texture improves with each wash. The bold curve that runs from the front to the back is inspired by the traditional Japanese "wave." The sashiko stitching that borders it adds dimension and warmth. Because each stitch is carefully sewn in, it is a truly unique piece, one that is unlike any other.

In 2013, I inherited a vintage shuttle loom from my mentor.
Using this rare loom, one of only a few remaining in Japan and still operating after nearly 80 years, I weave every fabric with care and intention.
By weaving slowly and reducing yarn tension to the absolute minimum, the fabric develops a remarkable softness, natural texture, and exceptional comfort against the skin.
