This organic cotton stole is woven slowly and softly on a traditional shuttle loom in Nishiwaki City, a Banshu-ori production area. With a silk-like texture, its thin weave keeps you cool in summer and warm in winter when wrapped around your neck. It's a versatile stole that can also be used as a sunshade or as a wrap for air conditioning. It can be folded compactly or spread out for a fuller look. It's suitable for all genders and seasons.
*We recommend using a laundry net and washing on a delicate cycle.

【 JAPAN MADE 】Shuttle power loom
In 2013, I inherited a vintage shuttle loom from my mentor.
Using this rare loom, one of only a few remaining in Japan and still operating after nearly 80 years, I weave every fabric with care and intention.
By weaving slowly and reducing yarn tension to the absolute minimum, the fabric develops a remarkable softness, natural texture, and exceptional comfort against the skin.
