製作者の小泉知士が、師匠より受け継いだ旧式の織機。
L.E.O.では日本にも数台しかない、およそ70年前にから使用していた旧式のシャトル式力織機を使用しております。
シャトル織機の持つ独特の柔らかさに加え、糸のテンションを極限まで抑えて低速で織り上げることで生まれる極上の肌触り、風合いを実現しました。
身体にやさしく馴染み、長く愛着を注ぐことが出来る、そんなL.E.O.の商品はすべて製作者の小泉知士がこの旧式のシャトル式力織機で生産しております。
【染め】反応染め、カセ染め
繊維を染める染料は弊社でも使用している藍染めや草木染めの自然由来の天然染料と、石油など科学的に合成された合成染料があります。
私たちが使用している染料は『反応染料』です。この染色方法は非常に堅牢度が高く、色が鮮明に表現できることが特徴です。
L.E.O.の色鮮やかなカラーバリエーションはこの反応染料を使用して染めているため、色落ちの心配もなくご使用いただけます。
また染め方もカセ染めにて染めております。手染めに近い感覚で、繊維に負担をかけず染め上げることで糸そのものの風合いを損なうことなく風合い、肌触りの良い製品になっております。
